There's still time to join us!

EUUC's Reading Circle for December is an article written by Ta-Nehisi Coates, author of Between the World and Me, that was recently published in The Atlantic magazine.  The article, "The First White President," explores the role of racism in the last presidential election, Trump’s determination to reverse Obama’s legacy, and how white supremacy has colored our analysis of the election.

The discussion will be held this Friday, December 15, at Rachel Maxwell’s home in Edmonds.  Even if you haven't registered, you are welcome to attend.

Come at 6:30 if you want to share a potluck meal.  The discussion will start at 7 p.m.

The article is available online by clicking here.

If you have any questions or want to let us know you're coming, contact Kyle Gillis, or email sjrc.rsvp@euuc.org.
